As i don't know what really happened,i can not give you appropriate advice yet.
But since i have made a few such pictures and video's myself,a while back,and got away with it,
i will here repeat the advice that i gave you and your team,about a year ago.
-plan ahead:see it as a wargame where you are trying to do something without getting caught by the "enemy":the cops.
Try to think about what their next move will be.And than come up with contigincy plans that will get you out safely from every possible or feasible problem.
- The police tends to follow rules and habits.Find them out,and it will help you avoiding them.
- choose places that give you easy escape routes,even if the cops arrive and catch you in the act!
- don't stay to long on one spot.
Keep on the move.Confuse the cops this way.After a while, they will give up.Maybe make false phone calls from untracable phone boxes?
- make shorter shoots.And repeat them several times in short bursts on different locations during the shooting day.I know that many members like long shoots,but they are to risky,i think.And get sometimes downright boring anyway.Just don't give the cops time to react.
- use "flankers".I noticed that your team exists out of only 1 or maybe two persons,not counting the girl. That's to little.I propose that you ask other persons to walk in the vicinity of the place where you shoot.One a few hundred yards ahead of you,two left and right,and one behind you.And let them warn you well in advance when the cops are coming.I am sure you will find numerous volunteers in England if you ask for them on these pages.
- i like the shoots inside the cities on markets and so on.But they do have the disadvantage that a police man in disguise might be patrolling in that place anyway( to catch pickpockets,f.i.).
So maybe it's better to come up with something to avoid that.
- i also saw that you stay in the same province.And shoot in the same cities.That can also be a disadvantage because those cops will be on the alert.
- and,if all else fails,you can maybe try to ask the city counsel for permission to make such shoots. F.i. for "art" purposes?
